The xDAI Stake Bridge is the canonical bridge between Ethereum and Gnosis Chain (formerly the xDAI Chain), a Proof-of-Stake EVM sidechain that uses a stable bridged DAI as its native gas token. The bridge handles DAI deposits, GNO staking, and validator-set messaging.
Gnosis Chain is one of the longer-running EVM sidechains and the home of several DAO-tooling and stable-payments-focused projects. STAKE was the original chain token, now succeeded by GNO.
