VaultBridge is a yield-generating bridge mechanism within Polygon’s AggLayer. Connected chains can route bridged assets through configurable yield strategies (lending markets, LSTs) so that the bridge contract earns yield rather than sitting idle, with revenue accruing to the chain.
The design lets new AggLayer rollups bootstrap a native revenue stream from day one without launching their own protocol, and is part of the broader AggLayer interoperability stack.
