tBTC

tBTC is the Threshold Network’s decentralized Bitcoin-to-Ethereum bridge. Unlike custodial wrappers, tBTC uses a randomly-selected, threshold-signature-secured group of operators to hold the underlying BTC, with the validator group rotated regularly to limit single-operator failure.

tBTC has gone through two major design iterations and is one of the few BTC-on-Ethereum representations that does not rely on a fixed custodian set. T is the Threshold Network governance token.
