Merlin’s Seal is the asset-staking bridge for Merlin Chain, a Bitcoin Layer-2 network. Users deposit BTC, BRC-20s, ordinals, and other Bitcoin-native assets into the Seal contracts to earn M-points and bridge into Merlin’s EVM environment for DeFi activity.
The Seal acts both as the canonical bridge into Merlin Chain and as the protocol’s incentive layer during the launch period. MERL is the governance token of Merlin Chain.
