Liquity V2 is the next generation of the Liquity borrowing protocol, issuing BOLD instead of LUSD. The headline change is borrower-set interest rates: each Trove (borrowing position) chooses its own rate, and the protocol orders liquidation priority by rate rather than by collateral ratio alone.
The redesign keeps Liquity’s immutable, governance-minimal philosophy while adding LST-collateral support and a more flexible rate market. LQTY remains the protocol token.
