dYdX V3 was the StarkEx-based perpetuals DEX that defined the on-chain orderbook-perp template. Deposits settled on Ethereum; matching ran off-chain on a StarkEx validity rollup. V3 has been gradually retired in favor of V4 on the Cosmos-SDK appchain.
