Chain Fusion

Chain Fusion is the Internet Computer Protocol’s interoperability layer, allowing ICP canisters to read from, sign for, and execute transactions on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other chains directly — without bridges. The technology uses threshold ECDSA signatures distributed across ICP nodes.

The approach is unusual in interoperability: ICP becomes a native participant on each chain rather than a bridge between them.
