Bancor is the original on-chain AMM, predating Uniswap. V3 introduced single-sided liquidity provision plus impermanent-loss protection funded by the protocol’s BNT emissions, though the IL-protection mechanism was later wound down.

BNT remains the protocol’s governance and liquidity-bonding token.
