Aerodrome V1

Aerodrome V1 is the original AMM and ve(3,3)-incentivized liquidity layer that launched on Base. The protocol uses a Solidly-style design where vote-locked AERO (veAERO) determines emission flows to specific pools, and bribes paid to veAERO holders direct liquidity where it’s most valuable.

V1 sits alongside the newer Slipstream concentrated-liquidity engine; the two together make Aerodrome the dominant DEX on Base. AERO is the governance token.
