Aave Horizon is an institutional-only Aave market that lets qualified borrowers post tokenized real-world assets — money-market fund shares, treasury tokens, and similar — as collateral and borrow stablecoins against them. Horizon is an isolated, KYC-gated deployment alongside the standard permissionless Aave V3 markets.
The product is Aave’s bridge into regulated institutional credit, paired with the broader RWA tokenization wave. AAVE remains the governance token of the protocol that operates Horizon under Aave DAO oversight.
